Thanksgiving

A U.S. Holiday occuring on the fourth Thursday in November commemorating a feast held in 1621 by the Pilgrims. During the original feast, Pilgrims gathered with Indians to give thanks for the bounty of an autumn harvest. Today, if today was Thankisgiving, we express gratitude for anything good going on in our lives or the ability to survive misfortune. The most common thing given thanks for on Thanksgiving is food.
