This cereal was described on the front of the box as "a crunchy combination of raisin bran, honey & nuts." The tagline for the cereal was "The delicious cereal that starts crunch and stays crunchy!" The back of the introductory box gave this lengthier description...

"Post Honey Nut Crunch Raisin Bran has a delicious combination of golden honey, chopped walnuts, and the goodness of Post Raisin Bran - lots of plump, fresh-tasting raisins and golden bran flakes. And it has crunchy cereal nuggets for a crunch that lasts... right to the bottom of the bowl! So deliciously crunchy the whole family will love it!"
