Graham Chex
From: Ralston
Introduced in 1993

"Two great kinds of crunch in every munch."

The complete name of this product was Graham Chex and Crispy Mini Grahams! Brand Sweetened Multi-Grain Cereal. It consisted of traditional Chex-style graham-flavored pieces mixed with graham-flavored cookie-style pieces. The first five main ingredients listed on the side panel were: milled rice, sugar, whole wheat, graham cracker and wheat flour.

Graham Chex Cereal Profile

The back of the box asked the question, "Which tastes better? Crispy or Crunchy?" and answered it like this:

"Okay, so new Graham Chex and Crispy Mini Grahams has 2 great tasting pieces, a crunchy Graham Chex piece and a crispy Mini Graham. But try to decide which tastes better. Crispy? Or Crunchy? Of course you've noticed the entire family loves both pieces. And you know that all this great taste comes with 8 vitamins and minerals, no artificial colors and a whole lot of Chex goodness. But which one do you like better? Crispy or Crunchy? Maybe if you think of new Graham Chex and Crispy Mini Grahams as 1 great cereal with 2 super tasting pieces you'll agree it's two great kinds of crunch in every munch."

This cereal is so great. I remember eating it while playing D&D with my friends. My friend Jessie would eat the whole box as he forced us to play and not chit chat.

I've had a strange obsession to figure out what the cereal with the little oblong graham pieces were. I just remembered the motto about two kinds of crunch. Have fond memories of really enjoying this as a child.

2016 and still no Graham Chex. Bring it back. Honey grahams are nasty.

Every time I go to the supermarket, I scan the aisles for Graham Chex and every time it is not there. I have been doing this for more years than I care to count. It is my white whale.
