Fruitful Bran
From: Kellogg's
Introduced in 1983

This cereal was described in a 1984 commercial as "a feast of raisins, dates and apples... all from Sun-Maid... it's the taste you've been looking for... discover Kellogg's Fruitful Bran... discover just how good a fiber cereal can taste." In 1983, the cereal also included peaches.

In 1990, the Center for Science in the Public Interest measured the amount of fruit in Fruitful Bran and found that a 14-ounce box contained less than 1.4 ounces of fruit.

Please bring it back! Nothing around has the same taste as Fruitful Bran in a muffin. I used to make them all the time. My children who are now in their 40's were just mentioning how they missed those muffins.
