Time To Make The (Dunkin') Donuts (Cereal) Commercial

In the commercial from 1988, Fred The Baker (known at the time for commercials for regular-sized Dunkin' Donuts) was shown making tiny, little donuts with a tiny rolling pin and other tiny baking equipment.

Fred The Baker: Time to make the donuts.

Narrator: Introducing a big idea from a giant in the business... the world's smallest donuts.

Fred The Baker: Ta da...

Narrator: In new Dunkin' Donuts Cereal you, get delicious crunchy little donuts by the hundreds. All your favorite donut shapes: rings, holes and twists. I agree with user McFlyJr1979 - I remember this coming in a box that had both flavors in one, and I absolutely loved it. Sure, it was gimmicky, but it tasted good!

I love that guy in the commercials for this cereal. As a little kid, I would wake up my parents by saying, "Time to make the donuts!" I'd laugh and laugh. They weren't as amused. Fun memory.
