Star Trek
From: Kellogg's
Introduced in 2009

This limited edition cereal is a tie-in with the 2009 film Star Trek directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nimoy and Eric Bana.

The cereal consists of galaxy-shaped whole grain pieces that look like miniature cinnamon rolls and marshmallow pieces in the shapes of Planet Vulcan, Planet Earth and Delta Shields (the triangular insignia on Star Trek uniforms).

The side of the cereal box gives a description of the film:

"Get ready for the never-before-told story of the greatest space saga of all time - STAR TREK. Join James Tiberious Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Bones and the rest of the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise for an epic adventure filled with edge-of-your-seat action and ground-breaking special effects!"

The back of the box features a "Join The Crew" follow-the-path Star Trek career selector and a "Chart A Course" maze game.

    Cereal Rating (out of 5):

This is a really underrated cereal. I bought 6 boxes. I was gonna eat 1 and save the others as collectibles. I ended up eating 5 boxes and now I have only the 1 box left... and that in danger of being eaten every day it sits on my shelf. I know it will never come back, but I'd buy it regularly if they did.

This was actually a pretty good cereal. I still have an empty box in case it becomes collectable.

I bought a box for my husband and one for my boyfriend. The kids ate it before I even had a chance to put it away. Now we keep it in the house at all times.

I bought this just for the novelty of it. Was thinking of saving the box unopened, but got real hungry and tried it... and really, really liked it. I hope they make it for a while. I'd buy it again.
