Keebler Cookie Crunch Cereal
From: Kellogg's
Introduced in 2008

The box notes that this cereal contains "2 Keebler cookie favorites - Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripes and Chips Deluxe".

The cereal pieces meant to look like Chips Deluxe cookies actually look like miniature chocolate chip cookies, whereas the pieces meant to resemble Fudge Stripes cookies have more of brown Froot Loop appearance.

The initial box for Keebler Cookie Crunch featured the Keebler elf character Ernie, the head baker and main spokesman for the elves.

The back of the box featured a maze game, a tic-tac-toe game, a match-the-cookie game and a meet-the-elves game. Other elves shown on the back of the box included Fast Eddie, Buckets, Ma, Doc, Elmer and Leonardo.

Interestingly, the third ingredient listed for this cereal after corn meal and sugar is cookie pieces.

Company Description: Kellogg's was originally founded as the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company in 1906. The company's founder Will Keith Kellogg is credited with inventing corn flakes along with his brother John Harvey Kellogg. The company was renamed the Kellogg Company in 1922... Why is this wonderful cereal not being sold any more. I can't find it on the shelves of our supermarkets. Please let me know if it is still available. Thank you.

    Cereal Rating (out of 5):

Loved the taste of this cereal. Have seen a lot of complaints about it getting soft in milk but... that's what cookies are supposed to do. It only becomes mushy if you're taking way too long to eat your cereal. Was far superior to the bland tasting and overly crunchy Cookie Crisp and it's a real shame it didn't last.
