Cinnamon-Scented French Toast
(4 servings) Printable Version
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1/4 cup fat-free egg substitute
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 slices oat-bran bread
Coat the griddle or large non-stick frying pan with non-stick spray. Place over medium heat until hot. Transfer the bread slices to the pan, working in batches if necessary. Brown on both sides.
If you can resist having a pat of butter on top, this is healthy.

We thought it was great. It had just the right amount of cinnamon. We used whole grain bread.
