Morning Spicy Wakeup (Oatmeal)
(1 serving) Printable Version
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking microwave oatmeal
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup vegetable juice (like V8)
- 2 Tablespoons cayenne pepper hot sauce (like Franks Hot Sauce)
- salt
Add 1/4 cup of vegetable juice and 2 Tablespoons of cayenne pepper sauce and stir vigorously to blend to smooth texture.
Salt to taste.
All natural healthy ingredients, except maybe for the salt, but a real tasty alternative to start the day.

Even better, crack a couple eggs in your oats when they are done. Then maybe some Parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic. I could eat this for breakfast lunch and dinner.
