Coco Roos
From: Malt-O-Meal
Introduced in 1993

Boxes and bags of this cereal encouraged consumers to "compare to Cocoa Puffs Cereal." Cocoa Puffs was introduced by General Mills in 1956. This cereal from Malt-O-Meal is very similar in flavor and appearance.

Company Description: The Malt-O-Meal Company dates back to 1919 when John S. Campbell developed a hot wheat breakfast cereal he called Malt-O-Meal. The company officially adopted the name The Malt-O-Meal Company in 1953. By 1965, the company had entered the ready-to-eat non-hot breakfast sector with the introduction of Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat cereals.... Read on and see all cereals from Malt-O-Meal

Another chocolate favorite! At first, I was expecting a Cocoa Puffs knockoff, but Coco Roos has a look and taste all its own, and for a lower price.

It's great! Stays crunchy. I dislike white milk so this is perfect. There is a problem. We can't find it at Walmart anymore.
