Honey Nut Shredded Wheat
From: Post
Introduced in 1997

This cereal was described on the back of a 2009 box as follows:

"Simple Goodness.

"Life is complicated, your cereal shouldn't be. Simply put. Post Honey Nut Shredded Wheat is the essence of simple goodness. Each biscuit is made with 100% whole grain wheat - a natural source of fiber - with a touch of golden honey and real almonds.

"Post Shredded Wheat. It's one of the simple things you can do to feel good."

A 1998 TV ad showed a Post factory worker named Roger taking a group of kids around the facility:

"You know sometimes we bring our kids in. They like watching us make Shredded Wheat, but when it comes time to eat it, well, they're not exactly like bees are to honey. But I think that's gonna change. This is our Honey Nut Shredded Wheat. It's Shredded Wheat all baked up with honey and nuts. Kids love to eat it. Parents love to eat it. And we even love to eat it right out of the box. And I'm getting pretty popular around here."

Company Description: Founded by C.W. Post, the company began in 1895 in Battle Creek, Michigan under the name Postum Cereals. Their first product was a coffee substitute called Postum. The first breakfast cereal to come from the company was Grape-Nuts in 1897... Read on and see all cereals from Post

Walmart was the only store left in my area to sell this cereal and now, even they have stopped. At a time when not a lot makes sense anymore, why take away the best cereal on the shelf?

I have searched my local stores plus a warehouse type store to no avail. Even had an employee searching for me! Total frustration! Like it better than any other shredded wheat! What the Hapse! BRING IT BACK Diane Betkis. 76 years old.
