This limited edition cereal is described on the box as a "sweetened rice cereal... natural and artificial fruit flavor... milk changes color." The cereal pieces are traditional Fruity Pebbles pieces but they are all pink. The front of the box features Fred Flintstone holding a prehistoric magic wand next to his dinosaur pal Dino.
Post's Pebbles website described the cereal like this: "Inspired by Dino, the Flintstone family's beloved pet pink dinosaur, this hot pink, crispy rice cereal magically turns milk blue right in front of your eyes, all while providing the same great Fruity Pebbles Cereal flavor."
A press release from Post revealed that the cereal was introduced to commemorate National Cereal Day (March 7) 2020.
The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are rice, sugar, canola oil salt, natural and artificial flavor, red 40, blue 1, BHT added to preserve freshness and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.
