This cereal hit stores in the summer of 2019. It's described on the front of the box as a "sweetened corn cereal with real peanut butter." It's gluten-free with no high fructose corn syrup and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
The back of the introductory box features recipes for Loaded Peanut Butter Chex Party Mix and Chex Peanut Butter Banana Bites.
The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain corn, cornmeal, peanut butter, sugar, corn starch, salt, canola oil, baking soda, natural flavor and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.
By our count, this is 27th variety of Chex cereal to be introduced since Wheat Chex first appeared in 1937.
