This cereal consists of dark brown Cheerios-shaped loops sprinkled with sugar. It looks and tastes almost exactly like Post Oreo O's cereal. The following description of the cereal appears on both the cereal package and the Malt-O-Meal website:

"You don't have to wait until snack time to have a special treat! Cookies & Cream cereal is baked with love... and rich chocolatey flavor, sprinkled with bits of sweetness. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this tasty treat as part of a meal or snack."

The ingredients listed on the back of the package are corn flour, sugar, whole grain oat flour, cocoa processed with alkali, corn syrup, canola oil, degermed corn meal, salt, cornstarch, palm oil, natural & artificial flavor, titanium dioxide (color), BHT (antioxidant) and a smattering of vitamins and minerals.

Company Description: The Malt-O-Meal Company dates back to 1919 when John S. Campbell developed a hot wheat breakfast cereal he called Malt-O-Meal. The company officially adopted the name The Malt-O-Meal Company in 1953.
