Caramel Popcorn Crunch
Introduced in 2015
The complete name of this product is Cap'n Crunch's Caramel Popcorn Crunch. It's described on the front of the box as a "naturally & artificially flavored sweetened corn and oat cereal."
The official Cap'n Crunch website said, "Each spoonful combines the sweet brown sugar taste of freshly popped caramel popcorn with the Cap'n's unmistakable crunch."
The majority of online reviews for Caramel Popcorn Crunch indicated that it didn't deliver on the caramel flavor promised on the packaging. Some said that the caramel tasted more like maple. Most said it was better as a dry snack than a cereal in milk.

My local Target still sells this stuff. I didn't really care for it. It sounded like it would be good, but I didn't really taste too much of a caramel taste. When you open the box, it does have a smell similar to Caramel Popcorn, but kind of smells a little weird as well. It didn't really have much taste in the milk. I think it tasted better as a dry cereal. The box I bought was really large. I actually had trouble trying to finish it. Kind of regretted buying it towards the end of the box. I wouldn't recommend it though. The idea sounds better than what it actually tastes like.

I purchased a box in St. Louis at Schnuk's - and devoured all 16 ounces in one sitting. FANTASTIC!
