Smurfs
From: Post
Introduced in 2011

The Smurfs Cereal hit select stores in the Summer of 2011. It was a tie-in with the 3D film The Smurfs, starring computer-animated Smurfs and live action players.

The limited edition cereal consisted of blue and off-white sweetened rice pieces, similar in shape to pieces found in Post's Pebbles cereals. Many who tried the cereal thought it tasted similar to Fruity Pebbles.

The cereal box featured a modern side with computer animated characters from the film and a retro side with characters drawn in the spirit of the 1980's Smurfs cartoon series.

The Smurfs Cereal

There were two previous Smurfs cereals before this one: Smurf Berry Crunch (Post, 1983) and Smurf Magic Berries (Post, 1987).

I really wish I tried this when it came out. I love fruity cereal and it sounds like it would've been great.

I asked my mom to buy more but it wasn't at the store anymore. I liked the cereal better than the movie!

My daughter loves this cereal. Found it at Big Lots. It is Fruity Pebbles with different colors. I think they have already stopped making it.
