Best cereal EVER! New Orange Cream Pop Crunch from Cap'n Crunch is a little close, but not nearly as good as I remember this cereal being.

I loved the cereal as a kid and often wished it would come back. With milk, it tasted like a Creamsicle or an Orange Julius. It was great! If it becomes available I want to know!

A friend and I spent a summer going to a convenience store to buy rolling papers and then hang out in a park or a vacant lot. Then we would return to the store to get soda and candy. We would take 45 minutes to visit the breakfast cereal section and laugh at the brightly colored boxes. Our favorite was Orange Quangaroos. We named it the Quangaroo Summer. We also liked to laugh in the pet food section and the pet care products, but Orange Quangaroos was our absolute favorite.

My wife and I loved Quangaroos. We would love to have it again. She and I would eat it (dry) in a large bowl while watching TV. Bring it back... today!

Fabulous cereal. Not enough "prize" offers. I had a Qwisp motorized propeller hat, and my brother had Quake's light up miner's helmet. Don't know what they could have done with the kangaroo, but...

I loved this cereal. I wish you could still buy it. And I'm 49. Was the perfect Saturday morning watching cartoons with a bowl of Orange Quangaroos. Bring it back Quaker!

I have been looking for information regarding Quangaroo Cereal for a very long time, and finally my partner found the 1973 commercial. I wish I could purchase a couple boxes. I miss it. I will check out Amazon. - Dzenaur

The best cereal ever! I wish a movement to bring it back could get started. My son loves Coco Puffs and it made me think of Quangaroos. Ah the good ole'' days!!

I had never heard of Quangaroos and I have eaten a lot of cereal in my time. Was it only available in certain places?

There was another premium that I haven't seen mentioned. It's merely a plastic bowl. No 2-in-1. Just an orange plastic bowl that is textured with the Quangaroo logo. I still have mine! I loved this cereal and agree, it was the best cereal ever. Good with milk and excellent straight out of the box. I'd give anything to try it one more time.

Wow! I always remembered the taste and have been searching for the name and brand for 39 years (I'm 49). Today I'm having Fruit Loops and start thinking how much the cereals today lack flavor. Thinking I was about 10 and loved this orange flavored cereal, and how it turned the milk orange, but I could not remember the name, so I searched 70's cereal name and bingo as soon as I saw the orange kangaroo on the box I knew it was it. Bring it back at least for a vintage /relic short period. I'd pay $10 a box!

I have tasteful memories of this cereal, and I'm 45 years young! Not only was I sorry to see Quangaroo lose the race and his cereal, I remember him popping up later on a safety poster in my grade school. How'd that happen?

I loved the box because I loved Quisp and Quake, but the orange flavor never worked for me. I guess it rarely does. I haven't seen an orange flavored cereal since.

This is, in my opinion, the BEST cereal ever made - hands down. Thank you Quaker for the 4 1/2 years. I so wish, they would give it another shot! Today's kids, have No idea, at what they're missing. This is so good, compare to the Junk cereal's there are now. Qangaroos to my end. Love them, forever.

I am 52 years old. I VIVIDLY remember when the cereal lost to Quisp. I was 14 at the time and ran to the local A&P market - bought 5 boxes at .42 cents each. I miss this cereal & wish that Quaker would give it another shot. Best ever period.

I used to get this, but I threw it up in the principal's office at school once, and she was amazed at the color. She asked my mom later what I had eaten that morning. It was perfect timing - she brought me a wastebasket, turned away for a few seconds, and I made a basket right away. She brought me a second wastebasket, she said, in case I had any "second thoughts". That was almost as weird as when I threw up FrankenBerry in the mountains in the snow.

I loved this cereal. To me it tops Captain Crunch any day. The only thing that comes close to is the Crunch berries. I guess it was just one of those things in life that lasts as long as a whiff of smoke.
