Cheesey Bacon Brunch

(1 serving) Printable Version

2 slices bacon
1 slice cheese
1 apple - peeled and sliced
1 English muffin - split
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash cloves
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 Tablespoon butter

Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces. Fry until crisp.

Saute apples in butter, brown sugar, and spices.

Top English muffins with apples, bacon, and cheese.

Broil until cheese melts.

Bacon + Cheese + Apple = Yum. This combination of sweet and savory is especially satisfying to those who like cheese with apple pie.

I normally make the 5 Egg recipes and always find them to be fantastic. This one was OK. I hate to be the one to bring this down one egg... but I must insist. PS.. I don't know what I would do for breakfast without Mr Breskfast... You Rock!
