Stuffed French Toast

- 1 loaf of bread - cubed
- 8 large eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese - softened
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 and 1/3 cups milk
In a 9 x 13-inch greased pan, evenly layer 1/2 of the bread cubes, then cheese, and top with the rest of the bread cubes.
Pour egg mixture over bread, cover, and leave in refrigerator overnight.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve with syrup.
You'll be amazed how five ingredients can make such a big, delicious breakfast. Play with different kinds of bread for fun results. We love using cinnamon raisin bread.

My daughter-in-law, Jennifer, made this and it was wonderful -- everyone was so impressed. I am making it tonight for tomorrow morning. I am passing the recipe on to my 91 year old friend who makes breakfast every Sunday for her family. jThis recipe is very easy, and extremely good!! Pam W.

I have had this with mascarpone cheese, but not yet with cream cheese. The mascarpone was divine. Will try this, too.
