Introduced in 2017
This limited edition holiday-themed cereal is described on the front of the box as simply a "multigrain cereal (that is) naturally flavored with other natural flavors." Graphics on the box feature gingerbread men with icing bow ties and belt buckles fashioned from pieces of Life cereal.
The back of the introductory box has an activity panel titled "Snowday Funday" with a maze game and suggestions for outdoor activities. The side of the box features a recipe for Life Gingerbread Spice Party Mix where the cereal is combined with pretzels, Teddy Grahams, butter, raisins and M&Ms.
The first 8 ingredients on the nutritional panel are whole grain oat flour, sugar, corn flour, whole wheat flour, rice flour, calcium carbonate, salt and natural flavor.
Each 3/4 cup serving has 120 calories, 1.5 gram total fat (0 saturated and 0 trans), 0 mg cholesterol, 160 mg sodium, 25 grams total carbs, 2 grams dietary fiber, 6 grams sugar and 3 grams protein.
Short Review By Mr Breakfast: The flavor of ginger in this cereal is very powerful. I dare say... too powerful. I wished there was some more cinnamon or vanilla or some other flavor the offset the ginger. Kudos to Life for helping make the holidays fun, but I would not buy this cereal again.
Update: Quaker reintroduced Gingerbread Spice Life for the 2018 holiday season. Here's a look at the 2018 box design:
