Kung Fu Panda Po Power Crunch cereal may also be referred to as Kung Fu Panda 3 cereal. It's described on the box as a "cocoa corn puff cereal with marshmallows." It's more playfully described on Mom Brands' website as "pow'erful puffs made with real cocoa, and kickin' marshmallow shapes inspired by the movie." The cereal pieces are cocoa brown balls similar to Cocoa Puffs mixed with yellow star-shaped marshmallows, white marshmallows shaped like a panda bear's head and round marshmallows which might be intended to resemble the yin and yang symbol.
The cereal is a promotional tie-in for the animated DreamWorks film Kung Fu Panda 3 (featuring the voice of Jack Black) which hit theaters on January 29, 2016. The cereal began appearing in stores at the very end of 2015 and the start of 2016.
The first 4 ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are sugar, corn meal, corn flour and marshmallows.
