The complete name of this cereal is Organic Frosted Oat Flakes. The box describes the cereal as a "whole grain oat and wheat flake cereal" and includes the slogan "The cereal that floats your oats!" Beneath an image of one of the highly textured flakes, it says, "We're bunnies too - we're just kind of flaky!" That alludes to the fact that many of Annie's cereals have bunny rabbit shaped pieces. Consumers discovering this new cereal without knowing Annie's background might find flakes describing themselves as bunnies wildly confusing.
This cereal was introduced in February 2016 along with two other new Annie's cereals: Berry Bunnies and Cocoa Bunnies. All three cereals are organic and made without artificial flavors, synthetic colors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup.
