This cereal is described on the front of the box as "lightly sweetened natural berry flavored purple and yellow corn puffs." The box also indicates that the cereal is gluten free and USDA Organic.
The back of the introductory box featured a maze game and a word search puzzle under the heading "A-Maze-ing Cereal." It included the following text: "Did you know? Corn comes in lots of colors: blue, yellow, red and even purple! Purple corn tastes delicious, like the yellow corn you eat on the cob. Take a bite of Berry Vanilla Puffs and see for yourself!"
The first 7 ingredients listed on the nutrition panel are whole grain purple corn flour, yellow corn meal, sugar, whole grain yellow corn meal, tapioca syrup, sunflower oil and sea salt.
