They were the best. Still am wondering until what year they were sold, because I was born in 1985 and clearly remember having to deal with my father in the grocery store for him to buy me some, real early 90's.

The Pacman cereal should be brought back. It was so good since I love cereals with Marshmallows and Pacman is a great video game icon. He and Donkey Kong and Mario were around when I was born back in 1982 and I play thier other video games all the time. Pacman knows how to chomp on the ghosts when he gets a power pellet.

Yes, this cereal was the best. The cereals of the 80's were on another level. I would love it if we could also bring back Smurfs cereal with marshmallows.

This was the best cereal ever created! My friends and I would be the happiest campers on earth if General Mills ever brought it back! I don't think GM realizes how many consumers absolutely love and dearly miss this cereal! They would probably instantly make hundreds, upon hundreds of millions of dollars on the relaunch alone!

I remember this cereal when I was little. I was just going through one of my mom's cabinets and found six (yes that's correct) SIX Pac-Man coupons with no expiration date.

I was 9 when this came out and I saw this commercial on ABC while during a Mighty Orbots break. I wanted this and my aunt bought it for me. Its fun appeal to me then- with its colorful marshmallows and sweet plain pieces - would have had this rated awesome, but now that I'm older and more objective here, it gets a 'Very Good' rating.

Rating (out of 5):

This cereal was awesome for the following reason - the non marshmallow bits. All other marshmallow cereals had the deliciousness of marshmallows, but lacks in the other half. This had a perfect world of marshmallow goodness and sugar coated wheat pieces. Also - once I got a box with nothing but marshmallows. I wish General Mills would recreate the cereal and put some modern cartoon on the front to make it sell.

Pac-Man cereal got 163 votes yesterday I don't know how so many people voted for this. Is this right?

Note From Mr Breakfast: Thanks for the note. I checked the traffic and all but 24 of those votes were from unique users. So this increase was a fair one. I will adjust for the 24 unfair votes. Thanks.

Bring this cereal back... in the 1st police academy movie there is a spot where the bad guys are shopping at a store and go down the cereal aisle and u can see this cereal in the background.

Delicious and fun cereal. But it also promoted pac-man cannibalism as you can see Mr. Pac-man eating little Mrs. Pac-man marshmallows on the boxes.

Just like your post about Body Buddies, Pac-man cereal also is shown in the cereal isle of Manhunter. When people tell me they never heard of the Pac-Man Cereal I tell them to watch the movie and see it on the shelf of the store.

This was a great cereal. It was Lucky Charms with Kix substituted for the crappy unlucky non-marshmallow pieces. I think I remember they had a cut-out mobile set on the box one time.

Wow... I was, like, 4 when this cereal came out?? Yet all I remember about it was the colossal sugar hit it gave me. Yeah, it was THAT powerful *LOL* But high sugar content alone does not a good cereal make.
