My brothers and I LOVED Bran & Prune Flakes. We considered it an underground fave. It tasted crazy good.

You know, I was wondering whatever became of this cereal. It was by far my all-time favorite cereal, and I think of it every now and then. For some reason, it didn't sell very well. However, POST knew they really had something. I remember - if I'm remembering correctly - that Post was advertising it and saying that if you bought the cereal and didn't like it, they'd give you your money back. That's confidence in the product. Perhaps we should contact Post and tell them to began producing it. I mean, these days people are more conscious of their health, and this is the sort of thing they're looking for.

Ate this as a kid as it was my favorite cereal. Maybe that's why I'm so healthy now?

Me too, #Ed! This was my favorite cereal back then as well! Now I am one of those old folks and I really would like to have it back. Cereal now is basically variations on the old granola, dried fruit, yoghurt etc!

I was in high school in the early 70's when I used to eat this cereal and loved it! It sounds like something that was aimed at old folk but it was one of my favorite cereals, right up there with Coco Pebbles and Cap'n Crunch. I wish they would reintroduce it but keep it the same, without any granola or yogurt clusters that are in everything today.

I agree with the 'dirkman'. It may have sounded like old lady cereal but those shavings of prune were tart and delicious! I miss it! Wake up Post Cereal company!

Man this stuff was great. I like Raisin Bran too as well as most cereals with dried fruit but I liked this best. I was 12 in 1970 when it was introduced, and I still want a bowl. I would eat it everyday. I even tried to make my own but it just wasn't the same.

Man, talk about a GROSS cereal! I wouldn't even feed this stuff to my nieces and nephews, nor to my own children.

I'd rather eat Raisin Bran.
