It would seem that Kellogg's is no longer making Bran Buds.

I too have searched for Bran Buds, and nowhere can I find a reason. Is there something awful in their manufacture?

Bran Buds absorbed in milk forked into small tart trays to line. Filled with a mix of cheddar cheese, chopped onion & seasoning bonded together by egg yolk. Take the egg whites whisked to peaks spoon on top of filled tarts. Bake until risen and gold. Lush! No substitute ever found for the barn buds in this recipe. Bring them back to UK!

Any reason this superb product no longer available in the UK? Used to have it in the 1980s. Son now brings it from Canada when he comes over.

I haven't been able to get this in Australia for years. Now I discover it's still available in the US. Will I have to be the weird woman bringing it home in my luggage (and declaring it at Australian customs of course)? Or will they bring it back to Australian shelves?!

In my opinion, this is the best cereal ever made. Please return it to the UK.

Please Kellogg's... sell this in Great Britain again. So good. So expensive to have it imported!

I also became addicted to Bran Buds whilst at university in the early 1980's. I used to look forward to my midday snack, I practically lived on them. If I remember right, they were best left for a few minutes to soak up the cold milk so that they weren't too crunchy, just a nice soft then crisp bite, a kind of al dente. A scandal when UK distribution was just stopped. I now live on porridge instead, but occasionally reminisce.

I became addicted to this cereal when living in Scotland in the 1990s - then it ceased to be made! After returning to Australia I searched for it high and low to no avail. Even now 20+ years later, I search the cereal aisles just in case it's being sold here... Bring the bran buds back - bring them to Australia. It's the best low fat high fiber cereal I've ever had!

Has Kellogg's said why this superb cereal is not available in the UK? Had it Canada and brought some back to England.

This cereal is awesome. I grew-up between the UK and Qatar as a kid. You couldn't get Bran Buds in the UK, only Qatar at the time - I have fond memories of eating it :) There would sometimes be free kids toys in amongst the buds too, not advertised on the box or anything - just thrown-in!

My grandmother used to buy these when I was a kid. I loved them 'til the day I ate almost a half a box and then had an unfortunate "trouser mishap".
