Super Simple Omelette

(4 servings)    Printable Version
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 slices of American or cheddar cheese
  • butter
  • milk (about 1 Tablespoon)
  • green peppers (hot is better)
  • dehydrated onions
  • Italian seasoning
  • paprika
  • parsley
  • garlic powder
  • 2 slices of ham
Mix eggs and milk in bowl with a fork until completely mixed together and yolks are broken.

Break the cheese and ham into small slices and mix into eggs and milk. Then add the peppers, chopped up small, and all of the rest of the spices and seasonings.

Melt butter in a pan and fry the omelette well on both sides.

Serve with a dash of Italian tomato sauce and crusty Semolina bread.

Delicious and quick! This omelette features ham, cheese, peppers and dehydrated onions.

I make this even super simpler: 2 Tablespoons of chopped fresh onions instead of dehydrated and just Italian blend for the spice. Good.

Great, but the pan I used was too small. Note to self: use a bigger pan next time.

You could absolutely skip the peppers and onions. This is a pretty basic recipe ripe for substitution.

From Question

Can I just put cheese and ham in the mix, and exclude the peppers and onions?

This one is delicious! I subsituted the cheddar cheese with mozerella cheese... it adds a great stringy, cheesy taste! Good job!!
