This will help keep you feeling full until 3 in the afternoon - at least it does for me (Tom Wright). This recipe is from my favorite restaurant in Florida.
Note From Mr Breakfast:
First, thanks to Tom W. for submitting the recipe above. I know from some emails I've received regarding another smoothie (Orange Julius) that a lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of having a raw egg in their smoothie. So, I thought I'd offer up an alternative recipe you might consider using:
Eggnog Smoothie (Alternative Recipe)
Makes 2 servings
- 1 cup eggnog
- 6 ounces vanilla yogurt (small container)
- 3 to 5 ice cubes
- 1 medium banana
- a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (for garnish)
Place the eggnog, yogurt and ice cubes in the blender. Break the banana into pieces and add those. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add milk a little at a time until it's just right. Garnish each serving with a dash of holiday spice.
A couple different ways to make Eggnog Smoothies for the holidays.
Mr Breakfast would like to thank pretzel for this recipe.
