Super-Easy Fried Bananas
(1 serving) Printable Version
- bananas
- butter or margarine (about 1/2 Tablespoon per banana)
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon per banana (optional)
Cut the bananas (either lengthwise or into coins) and add them just as the butter begins to brown.
Cook until golden brown on each side (about 2 to 3 minutes per side).
Serve them with cinnamon or maple syrup.
Very easy and delicious. Makes a great topping for oatmeal and pancakes.

I found it to be a bit mushy, too. What I did the second time was to coat the bananas in brown sugar before frying. Gave it a nice crust. =)

This would make a good topping for pancakes. A little more mushy than I was hoping for but truly delicious.
