Super-Easy Fried Bananas

(1 serving)

  • bananas
  • butter or margarine (about 1/2 Tablespoon per banana)
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon per banana (optional)
Melt butter or margarine in a frying pan over medium high heat.

Cut the bananas (either lengthwise or into coins) and add them just as the butter begins to brown.

Cook until golden brown on each side (about 2 to 3 minutes per side).

Serve them with cinnamon or maple syrup.

Very easy and delicious. Makes a great topping for oatmeal and pancakes.
