How To Make A Bacon And Egg Breakfast Casserole
Cut each buttered bread slice into 8 to to pieces.
In a lightly greased deep casserole dish, layer the bread pieces, followed by a layer of crumbled bacon.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, mustard, and paprika. Pour this mixture over all of the ingredients in the casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until puffy and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
I've made this about 4 hours before cooking and it turned out great. I just constructed everything and covered and refrigerated. I hope you like it.

Made this many years ago when daughter was in pageants. Lady we stayed with was a doctor and she made this for us for breakfast, but left the bread in slices, buttered both sides, added crumbled sausage. then the eggs and dry mustard. I still make it all the time but want to try bacon instead and not refrigerate it overnight. Thanks for the recipes.

I didn't have dry mustard so I used a full teaspoon of Dijon mustard. It came out awesome. Thanks guys!

Easy to make but I did leave out the spices and added cheese. My 6 year old loved it.

Would you multiply ingredients by 6 to make for 12?

This was not a good recipe. It tasted like I was eating soggy bread.
