Monterey is a little interstate town a few miles east of Cookville. The Cup & Saucer is well worth the short trip off the highway if you're in the area. It's a local diner that's been in business for decades, and they still do a great old-fashioned breakfast. Pleasant, good service with plenty of coffee and food hot off the stove. Look for the giant cup on the front of the building.
