My wife and I just ate there last week (6/1/12). It has a new owner. I was a little suspicious when I noticed that we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. But, we ordered anyhow after finding out that my beloved Geppettos was closed for good. Onto the meal. My wife had the fish & chips and I had a steak. The F&C was not so good. Good portions but terrible quality. The fish was sliced very thin and the breading was sort of like dry flour. Yuk. The steak was tasty but very tough. We will not be returning there ever again.

LONG LIVE GEPPETTOS - The marinated turkey breast sando on a Fagazzi roll was to die for :)
I used to eat there every time I went to Ashland for the last 22 years. You shall be missed. RIP

This place is a great example of a spoiled typical Ashland Restaurant.
If you appreciate waiting ten minutes for your menu, another ten minutes for some water, at which point you ask for coffe and say "i am ready to order" fearing you may never get attention again the busser replys "iam only a busser, i will get your waitress" ., then this is your restaurant
Once i did get my coffee from my waiter, i ordered a eleven dollor scramble with hashbrowns and a fagazzi roll. The coffee was two fifty. I was already done drinking my cup when the waiter left with my order.
I never saw him again
Once i got my food, i asked yet again for more coffee. The plate was very unpleasent. The hashbrowns were a hash tan, if not peach colored. About six onces of potatoes all together. The egg scrambled i did order was a pepperoncini and chedder scramble. I love peperoncinies, and who dosent like cheese. Unfourtanatly, this was a cheese scramble with a few peperoncines and a half of an egg. Not a grain of salt found on the plate, nor pepper. My hashbrowns were cold, but my eggs were hot ( and moving due to the cheese content ). Again, not a single grain of seasoning anywhere to be found.
To top this off, there was no garnish, and the plate was cold, small and white. Now i started to wonder why the lights were dim?
Still no coffee, no ketchup ( which i just now noticed ) and my waiter ( who seems very confident in his ability to serve, whistiling some old tune ) was pacing by me.
no coffee... no roll, no freakin ketchup.
I took another bite of my seasonless eggs, adding some salt here and there, wishing i had some bread to eat my eggs with, and some damn coffee to get it down with.
Oh well, ill just make sure everyone hears my complaint.

RON - FIRE JAY, he is blowing your buisness apart. and heres another idea, stop hiring retards and make sure people are cooking your food with flavor and perfection..... but hey, your the one running the show

Your trully, a cook who would never work in a dump like Geppettos
