If you like hash browns (and we're in Idaho, aren't we?) this is the place to go. You get about 3 or 4 portions of crisp hash browns on your plate with every breakfast that comes with hash browns! However, the rest of the food was not as great. The eggs and so-called rye toast were fine, but the chicken fried steak tasted like it came from a box and was dropped frozen into the fryer. There are many other places in the Boise/Nampa area that fresh bread their own or use better grade frozen CFS--this is not the best choice here. However, the HUGE full cup of gravy served on the side was wonderful. There was enough for my CFS, hash browns (ever heard of potatoes and gravy), and to dip my toast. The omelettes seem to be the best choice. Just a ham 'n cheese omelet with the huge serving of hash browns and a biscuit will cost you about $5.25--not bad for all this food.

This is not the best breakfast around or the best deal, but a solid choice and friendly people. They leave the pot on the table, so there is little inter-action with the cute waitress.

Honker has excellent cheap breakfast. Plate size pancakes, biscuits and gravy to die for.

If you want a laid back place to eat, read the paper and get full this is it.
