Had a much better experience then years ago. Top notch employees, top notch food, top notch managers on sight to deliver top notch customer service. Thank you Perkins for everything you do. We stop by twice a week and always get treated like we are royalty.

Perkins in Ritzville is a standard chain restaurant but with an attentive wait-staff and a convenient, off freeway location. While the omelettes are OK, you can't beat the eggs to order and generous portions that come with the egg dishes.

On a busy day the place can get pretty crowded and the wait times get crazy with the geriatric crowds, but the service at the restaurant has definitely improved since the last post in 2003.

Not a lot of places between Spokane and Seattle to stop for a meal without wandering all over the "town."

The food is palatable, if you're hungry.
The service is virtually non-existant, but when it comes, it has ATTITUDE.

On the positive side, it's visible from the Interstate and the parking/gas facilities are a nice add-on.

If possible, hold out until you get to Ellensberg (westbound) or Spokane (eastbound).

My parents live in Ritzville. Normally Perkins as a chain is reasonable, but I must say this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in. Not only do the servers act as if they'd rather walk through broken glass than seat you, take your order, or bring your food, but the food definitely isn't anything to write home about. My parents have taken me there a few times, as there aren't many restaurants in Ritzville...it's been bad every time.
