Hash Brown Pie

  • 5 large eggs
  • 5 to 8 slices of bacon (depending how much you like bacon) - crumbled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups Country style hashbrowns -- thawed
  • 1/3 cup green onions -- thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • 1-1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese -- shredded and divided
In a meduim bowl, beat eggs and milk; stir in hash browns, green onions, salt and pepper sauce. Stir in 1 cup of the cheese and half of the bacon.

Pour into a greased 9 inch pie plate or quiche dish. Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes or til the center of it is set.

Sprinkle with remaining bacon and cheddar and bake til the cheese is melted on top!
