Bagels with cream cheese and bacon: Try using two strips of thick "slab" bacon that is either broiled in an oven or nuked in the microwave until crisp. This removes most of the bacon fat (and calories) making for a wonderfully crunchy breakfast treat. Still hungry? Follow up with cut up potatoes in their skins, tossed with a tablespoon of oil and "oven-fried" in a cast-iron skillet.

If you add swiss cheese on top of the Bacon, it is called a Granger. It is about the only food that goes as well with beer as it does orange juice or milk.
