Warmed Sherried Fruit Breakfast Casserol

  • 2 - 15 oz. cans of sliced pears or chunk pineapple
  • 1 - 16 oz. can peach halves or slices
  • 1 - 16 oz. can apricot halves
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup sherry
  • 2 - Tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 - cup brown sugar
Arrange fruit in a 2 quart casserole dish.

Melt butter over low heat, add flour and sugar, stirring until all lumps are gone. Gradually add sherry; cook over med. heat until thickened.

Pour over fruit; cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min. or 10 min on high in microwave.

Variations of fruit may be adjusted to seasonal availability or personal likes.
