  • 1 slice wheat bread - toasted
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 fresh mushrooms - thinly sliced
  • 3 tomato slices
  • 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 slices bacon - crumbled
Place toast on baking sheet. Spread with butter if desired. Cover with mushrooms and tomato slices. Sprinkle cheese and crumbled bacon on top.

Bake in 350 degree oven until cheese melts.


This is quick, easy to make favorite of mine from my childhood. You'll like it a lot!

The only thing I'd change next time is to saute the mushrooms a little first because they didn't get soft like I like. Other than that it was pretty good.

It was great. I did another one that had wheat bread toasted, with apple slices that were boiled in some water and vanilla and sugar [like a syrup], and orange marmalade. it was very good. =]
