Texas Hotcakes with Lonesome Red

Texas Hotcakes with Lonesome Red

(2 servings)    Printable Version
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 Tablespoon butter - melted
  • lingonberries
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/2 cup Lonesome Red Bloody Mary Mix (or similar)
Beat eggs and sugar. Sift flour and add to mixture. Add milk and mix well. Last, add melted butter, beer and Lonesome Red Bloody Mary Mix.

Sprinkle batter very thin on a hot greased skillet, turn with spatula. This is a nice crisp, spicy pancake. The beer makes them tender.

This seemed so weird I had to make it. It was the most unusual breakfast I ever had. But also very tasty.
