Easy Crock Pot Breakfast Cobbler

Easy Crock Pot Breakfast Cobbler

(4 servings)    Printable Version
  • 2 cups peeled and sliced tart apples
  • 2 cups granola cereal
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
Spray inside of 3-4 quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Combine apples, cereal, brown sugar and cinnamon in crockpot and mix well.

Stir together honey and butter and drizzle over apple mixture. Mix gently.

Cover crockpot and cook on LOW 8 hours until apples are tender.

Easy to prepare, but hard to wait the 8 hours it takes to cook because it smells so good. Tastes like a wonderful apple cobbler.

So I'm making this now... had apples that would have gone bad. Used some raisins and had Grape Nuts cereal. Fingers crossed that it'll be yummy ! Thank you for the recipe. If it works out it'll become my go to for leftover apples!

Yum! But I feel guilty eating it for breakfast... tastes too much like dessert!
