Fresh Fruit Breakfast Parfait

Fresh Fruit Breakfast Parfait

(4 servings)    Printable Version
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup granola (preferably homemade)
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups fresh berries (like raspberries and blueberries)
  • 2 kiwis
  • whipped cream - for topping
Take four parfait glasses (or any cup or glass where you can see the the contents inside) and simply layer all ingredients. Top with whipped cream and a fresh mint leaf.

Note: In place of (or in addition to) the raspberries and blueberries, try banana slices, peach slices, sliced strawberries or blackberries. Any fruit that you can think of will probably work.

In France, parfait literally means 'perfect' - which is what you'll be saying after you try this combination yogurt, granola and fresh fruits and berries.

Mr Breakfast would like to thank Terry for this recipe.

If you make this in a tall glass and do two layers of each ingredient, it's delicious, nutritious and super pretty.

You do not need these ingredients. All you need is some flavored yogurt, smashed cookies, fruit, chocolate syrup and whipped cream and if you want then sprinkles.

I like the recipe. Putting it together is like breathing. Not too tough.

Gosh Betty. Don't be upset. I'm unable to reach the person who submitted the recipe, but it seems like a pretty straight-forward fruit parfait recipe. I'd suggest that you add the yogurt, granola and berries in alternate layers. Then, drizzle the top with honey. Add the kiwis and then top it off with the whipped cream and mint leaf garnish.

Admit it Betty... you kinda like me.
