Cucumber & Semolina Panckaes

  • 2 cups grated cucumber
  • 2 cups semolina
  • buttermilk - enough to mix the above into a batter
  • 3 or 4 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 finely cut green chillies
  • 1 pinch salt
  • butter - for topping
  • honey - for topping
Mix the grated cucumber, semolina, brown sugar, salt, chilies and buttermilk into a batter of pouring consistency.

Immediately pour a ladle full and make pancakes.

Serve with butter and honey.

This is a sweet and sour recipe. The taste is different from the other pancakes you'd normally make.
