This is the upscale restaurant in Mariemont, a beautiful planned village on Route 50 East of Cincinnati. It has a place on this list because...

it stands at the head of the First Watch chain of breakfast restaurants (see reviews) which was developed by the owners of this restaurant. When it comes to breakfast the National Exemplar has a wider selection and a classier venue than its offspring .. and the same prices. Basically, they figured out how to do breakfast right and took it on the road.
