This family diner type place is close to a lot of the nice hotels in the Water Tower area of downtown. It was recommended by a hotel clerk and was a terrific option from the really expensive hotel restaurant. So I returned several times during the week that I was in town. Great omelettes, a big variety of pancakes and waffles, the ham (for the ham and eggs) was freshly-sliced from a real ham, etc. Coffee wasn't gourmet, but refills came frequently -- my cup was never empty, and the way I drink coffee at breakfast, that's saying a lot! Friendly service in a family-owned place. All-in-all, a real gem.
