For those familiar with "The Original Pancake House" this is a standard addition. I was so glad to have found one in CA, originally from IL there were several of the franchises there but I was so pleased to find them here in CA.

The Original Pancake House is an IHOP on steroids, the coffee is wonderful and they use heavy cream for the creamer. Always ready with a refill, the juices are fresh squeezed, the omlettes are slightly different, as they are baked rather than fried, portions huge. Now for the real draw---THE PANCAKES!! The German Pancake is to die for, it is an oven baked pancake served with lemon, powdered sugar, and butter and it is huge. They also have a cinnamon apple version of this which is also a real treat. The have 49er flapjacks, great potato pancakes, home made corned beef hash, crepes, etc, etc, etc.

Probably a little pricier than Denny's or IHOP, but a world of difference. Many different varities of pancakes, waffles, egg dishes. Standard fare for those who know about the Orignal Pancake House or a gem for those who just happen upon it!

I go for the coffee alone!
