Several years ago, when our kids were all still living with us, my family & my wife's sister's family would make an annual vacation trip to the northwoods of Wisconsin. Carol's was a breakfast stop everyone looked forward to almost as much as our final destination! My brother-in-law & I "discovered" Carol's on a solo fishing trip to Wisconsin. We were instantly impressed by the number of different ways they served toast. From then on, Carol's was known to us as "Carol's House of Toast"!
