This is the restaurant in the casino that's open 24 hours. There were signs around the casino for their "giant" ham and eggs so I got that in the wee hours of the morning. Loved it! Huge as promised. Made me feel a little less bad about loosing 40 bucks at video poker.

The Riverview restaurant is embedded in the first floor of the casino. It does in fact have a nice view of the river.

They bring a small pot of coffee for the table. It's nice to have the coffee on hand, but I've always thought of the small pot as a cop out. I consider coffee refill time to also be "is everything okay?" time. And that means you're cheated out of that little extra personal service.

I started with a Cinnamon Bun. It looked and tasted like a store-bought bun. I wouldn't recommend it.

For my main course, I had one of their specials-- "The 3 Eggs and Hamsteak". Unlike the bun, the special did not dissappoint. The ham had a wonderful smokey flavor, and the thickness of the slab justified the use of the word "steak". The eggs were done as asked and were satisfactory.

The Riverview has a mostly older clientel -- older than the hills. For my money, you can always find a good bargin breakfast if you go where the old people go. And that's exactly what the Riverside provides.
