Homestyle cooking. Everything made fresh daily. Always delicious. Big portions. Happiest place in Escondido to eat a meal. Like having breakfast with 30 friends.

This hidden gem is tucked away in a non-desrcript industrial area on southern edge of Escondido just off State Highway 78.

The recently renamed Home Sweet Home Cafe has a faithful following of customers. While the name is new, the owner and staff have been cooking-up the best breakfasts and lunches here for many years.

They have the best crispy home fries in town and their eggs are always expertly cooked.

Do stop by to experience the true down home hospitality and lip smacking food for yourself.
