Terrific little restaurant with a surprisingly vast menu of rich German breakfast options. German pancakes, classic pancakes, omelets, Benedicts, and among other. I usually order the Chicken schnitzel and eggs which are always satisfying.

The restaurant is located in a converted house in a somewhat hidden location off Powell. Seating can be cozy during busy times, but I've never had to wait for a table during brunch. Some of the dishes can take a little longer to prepare, but the food is always worth waiting for. The service is very attentive and friendly.

I love the authentic German food, the tasty desserts & the friendly service. It's great that breakfast is served until 2:30 on Saturdays & Sundays so I don't have to rush out of bed. Everything is fresh and tasty and reasonablly priced. It's a good place for splitting plates and the servers are really nice about suggesting things. It's a Portland stapel and I highly recommend it.
